Introduction to The Great Hall

In the autumn of 2000, a high school senior and dedicated fan of Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time decided she wanted to become the Amyrlin Seat and create a fan group that would encourage community and bring people together. Inspired by and built around Tar Valon, the White Tower, and the Aes Sedai ideal "Servants of All," The Great Hall was born and has grown and evolved from an email roleplay group to the community seen today. It is a place where people from all around the world can meet new friends, catch the latest news, and generally enjoy the world of WoT online. There are many WoT fansites on the internet today yet GH stands out. Here's why....

The Great Hall offers both information resources and a community. Fans can find the latest WoT news, Robert Jordan's syndicated blog, artwork from New Spring the Graphic Novel, links to other WoT resources and communities, member suggested literature in the bookstore, and the first independently hosted Wheel of Time Wiki. The community consists of both forums and a chat for members and visitors to interact and a unique roleplay set in a world that "might have been."
